Dr. Brendan Wright is
a Nashville native and went to David Lipscomb from first grade
through college. He has always been very active in sports and,
as an eighth grade wrestler and baseball catcher, he sustained
numerous neck and back injuries that landed him in his family's
chiropractor's office.
After
just a few treatments, and without dangerous drugs or surgery,
Brendan was as good as new. He decided then and there that chiropractic
would be his lifelong profession. So, after graduating with honors
from Lipscomb University, he chose to attend chiropractic college
in St Louis. In 1995, he again graduated in the top of his class
and returned to the Nashville area. He has served the residents
of Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin ever since.
Although Dr. Wright regularly treats patients with
the conditions traditionally associated with chiropractic,
( i.e. back pain, neck pain, stress, headaches,
migraines, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ
problems, effects
of car accidents, arm and leg numbness, etc. ), his
true passion lies in helping children and adults
alike with sports injuries and nutrition. As a result,
he has had extensive post-doctoral training in both.
Some examples of the types of conditions with which
Dr. Wright enjoys helping folks are: tennis elbow,
golfer's elbow, rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis
and iliotibial band ( ITB ) problems. Nutritionally,
Dr.Wright chooses to recommend the same supplements
that the U.S. Olympic teams and over 500 professional
athletes ( including the Tennessee Titans ) use.

Since
Dr. Wright realizes that no one chiropractic
technique is best for everyone, he utilizes
several. For example, he will typically employ very low force
techniques such as Activator or Thompson when treating elderly
patients, patients with arthritis, pregnant ladies and children.
For those with disc bulges or sciatica, Cox flexion/distraction
is most effective. For sports injuries, Graston technique and
massage work best. So, there is a licensed massage therapist
on staff at Champion Chiropractic. Finally,
for those who prefer "old school" chiropractic, Dr.
Wright uses Diversified technique.
So, whatever your age, whatever your condition, Dr.
Wright can help you and looks forward to doing so.
